About Us
Our Worship
Christian worship extends far beyond what happens at church, yet we consider the gathering of God’s faithful people every Lord’s Day to be of unique importance. We aim for our worship service to be the closest mirror of heaven on earth that can be found, since it is the regular place where God’s people together sing, pray, fellowship, remember, give, and submit to the authority of his Word. We do not want our worship time to be trivial or shallow.
During our Worship Services, we sing strong hymns with resolve and joy, we pray long prayers full of doctrine and thankfulness, we read entire passages of Scripture so that we might know it well, and we submit ourselves to faithful expository sermons which connect our minds and hearts to what God has revealed in his Word alone. We come to worship God so that we might leave with a weighty sense of his majesty, holiness, goodness and grace.

For Families
During the Sunday School hour we have a younger children’s teaching time in which we teach Bible stories, verses, and Christian doctrine in catechism form. For our Worship Service, we welcome children of all ages to sit with their families, knowing that they sometimes may cause a seeming distraction. It’s not actually a distraction to us. Even though we do not align with the “family-integrated” church movement, we are committed to seeking to provide a warm and caring environment for families to grow in church together.
